Hey there, friends. It’s day 23 of my improvised November writing challenge, and today I was able to double my word count on yesterday’s scene outline. I am still crawling at a snail’s pace, but I’m happy that I made more forward momentum tonight. I wrapped up the evening with a little bit of research into Vienna, Austria, and the ski resorts around there, which are of background importance to the hero’s goals (and obstacles).
I’m also not sure how I am going to handle writing on the Thanksgiving holiday next week, as I will be going to various family dinners. Bringing a notebook, my chromebook, or writing on my phone are all options.
I use Scrivener for my Mac to write, and my Chromebook sadly is too old to buy Scrivener for. I do have scrivener on my iPhone, but it I was never able to get it to work right, and it’s linked to a previous project. I might fool around with trying to synch it up to this one.
How do you guys write when you’re away from your writing software?
