Hi, writing friends. I am happy to report that I am not sick! Yay! My son was back in school today, and I hopefully dodged the bullet. Also, I did put in my 60 minutes this evening, but I feel…meh about it.
It was one of those days where I resorted to more research instead of putting words down. I am still trying to figure out the plane emergency, and just didn’t feel I had enough information to get everything clear in my mind, so I went down the YouTube rabbit-hole and finally found some decent videos of passengers inside the plane during emergencies. I was able to glean some actual good details and more tidbits from several other emergency flight situations that I might be able to use in my scene(s).
I mean, I’ve been researching this on and off for weeks and it’s amazing how you will scroll through pages and pages of nada, until you stumble upon the right combination of keywords that FINALLY yields results.
Anyway, hopefully more words will happen tomorrow. I hope that if you are doing NaNoWriMo, you were able to crank out your 1667 words.
